100 members, 2/state with a senior and junior senator, this favors smaller states but does NOT give them an advantage, it just levels the playing field, because the smaller states have the same amount of "say" in decisions.
6-year term, must be 30 years old and a natural-born citizen with 9 years of living in the U.S in a row. Senators have to be living in the state, not district that they represent.
This is a more prestigous honor than it is to be in the House of Representatives.
